I am in the process of sketching the 46
high peaks
of the Adirondacks in Charcoal.
Once this project is completed I intend to begin to produce
larger paintings from them.
Prints of the charcoals
will be available shrink wrapped
on foamcore 8" x 10" as I get them done.

We live and work year
round in the Adirondack Park region of upstate New York. We moved here in 1987.
Since then our love and appreciation for the raw natural beauty of this area
have steadily grown.
At this point in time I
produce artwork primarily inspired by the great north woods of the Adirondack
Mountains.
My major influences
have been Edward Hopper & Winslow Homer.
Also a tip of the hat
to Andrew Wyeth, Rockwell Kent, Rembrandt & Leonardo (I could go on & on).
Hopefully my work reflects a little of their spirit.
Although, my work is strongly influenced by these ancient mountains,
I hope the work will always have a bit of me in it. Great art should tell you
something about the person that created it.

Along with
the artwork we also have a small organic vineyard which we began
planting 4 years ago. We will be licensed as :
" Earth - Works " Vineyard & Nursery
beginning in 2009. We will be selling cold hardy grapevines that we propagate
from our own cuttings as well as other cold hardy perennials.
We will be showing and selling both my art
and our plants from our location in Jay NY in the spring of 2009.
Hopefully we'll see you here.
The Earth
works perfectly when treated with the respect she deserves.
