We live and work year round in the Adirondack Park region of upstate New York. We moved here in 1987. Since then our love and appreciation for the raw natural beauty of this area have steadily grown.

At this point in time I produce artwork primarily inspired by the great north woods of the Adirondack Mountains.

My major influences have been Edward Hopper & Winslow Homer.

Also a tip of the hat to Andrew Wyeth, Rockwell Kent, Rembrandt & Leonardo (I could go on & on). Hopefully my work reflects a little of their spirit.

In my opinion a professional artist should reflect the ideals of the renaissance. We should promote the
perception of the artist as an individual equally fascinated by the arts (visual & performing) & sciences. We should conduct  ourselves as professionals at all times and do all that we can to elevate the arts.

The Earth works perfectly when treated with the respect she deserves.

Cyndi & I are avid organic grape growers. The good people at Gardens Alive carry wonderful products for the environmentally responsible gardener that Monet would have been proud to use in his garden. We are equally proud to be able to endorse their fine products. Please visit their site by clicking on the Cardinal.
